As the MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop comes to an end, students gathered in the lobby and lounge for their last night at MIPA. Students played board games, made crafts, worked on projects, and simply enjoyed the new friends they had made throughout the week.

Last night Olympic Trials runner English Tomlinson joined us at MIPA for a press conference. Tomlinson discussed their introduction to track and cross country, the highs and lows faced over their career, and so much more. This gave students the opportunity to test their interviewing and information-gathering skills to apply in their writing today. 🏃🏻🏃🏻
